TESTICLE CANCER

This typically occurs at a young age.

Any hardening in the testicle therefore requires an urgent urological examination. After all, this may be a malignant testicular tumor. This always requires urgent treatment, whereby the testicle will be removed initially through an incision in the groin. Any additional treatment (chemotherapy, radiotherapy or surgery) will depend on the microscopic examination of the testicle, as well as the result of the blood collection and scanners. If fertility would be compromised by any additional therapy, the possible freezing of a sperm sample will be discussed.
